in and out of many homes a week. I find that so many glue down hardwood floors do eventually break the glue bond and start to pop and crack. It is nerve racking when this does that.

I like a glue or nail down hardwood because the accoustics don't give that hollow cave walk on noise. Every floating hardwood floor that I have walked on and commented on while in homes are hollow and loud in nature.

I do not know where this might leave you.

Glue down break down so many times because of foundation shifts and movements. Sometimes you cannot beat a wood flooring nailed down to a 3/4 inch ply wood sub flooring.

Tough call.
