I had a house with forced hot air and it seemed to disapate as fast as it was pumped into the room.
Electric is cheap to install but you pay for it in the long run with the high electric bill. I think with electric heat, much like hot air, I don't think it hangs around long, so it comes on more often.
I think forced hot water is a more constant heat. With forced hot water, the water in the pipes generally stay warm as it runs though the system. I don't notice a drastic change before the furnace kicks in. Or maybe it's all in my head!
Now, the question would be Gas, Propane, or Oil?
I have oil because gas was not available in this new development and my wife is afraid of propane!
That's my 2 cents. If you need change, let me know!
