Most, dryers don't have the force to push lint and the likes up as you are planning. The lint will clog up at the up hill run and cause your dryer to over work and malfunction and a fire could come of that.

First, I would not move it away from the exterior wall, but if its a must, then vent it in the crawl space or build a false wall where you can dump the lint from the hose into a container and periodically empty the container.

Just a note; think about re sale value and if the new intended buyer will like the idea that you are thinking about.
