Honeywell has been making Environmental Control Units (Wow!) for a looooong time. Find one you like and don't let price sway you. They're a good brand.

If you have zoned heating, just keep your eyes open for that. Try to get one w/battery backup and one that's programmable. The unit I have is 4 years old. It has 2 settings for weekends and 4 for weekdays. It works well for us. You can manually over-ride any programmed setting on-demand. The only thing I wish it had was a Daylight Savings Time feature. I'm sure they're out there. Ours is a single zone, digital unit. 5 years ago it cost us $62.
