I beleave you are talking about polystrine type
mouding, you will need a new sharp saw with very
fine teeth, next you will need a mitre box "whats a mitre box"
I'll tell you how to make one, 1) base: about 2'long by 2" high
and a little wider than your moulding material which we shall call "X"
2) for the sides again 2' long by "X"plus 2"wide.
now screw not nail the two sides to the base, screw to thw 2" sides
you should have now a "U" shaped box with equal sizes on the inside
Now turn the it over so you have the base on the underside, if you have a
carpenters square draw a line across the two sides across the middle
now saw the line down to the base ( you should be now cutting the two sides
cut down to the base then stop.
measure 3" to the left draw a line at 45 degrees left to right.
again saw down to the base. measure again 3" to the left, and again draw a
line at 45 degrees this time from right to left and saw down to the base
Now what you should have is somthing like this:
l l l l l
l l l l l
l l l l l
l l l l l
You can now place your mould material in and cut to the shape you require
after you have cut some waste ends you can start on the real thing.
Have fun
