Most outdoor lighting is now 12 volt for safety reasons

To put in the outlets, mark the pattern on outside of house. Keep within local electrical code. Probable need to be certain heigth from ground. Use outdoor rated outlets. Sometimes they cannot be located over grassy areas.

Once you mark the pattern, drill a hole at one corner, then go inside and see if your location will clear joists and other stuff. If location seems to be acceptable, drill holes at 4 corners, then go back inside and look again. If location is acceptable then cut out with saw. Install following all ele. codes Seal around outlet with good silicon product. Make sure to use a GFI breaker.

I would look into installing 12 volt lights using conduit underground. Only drill one hole big enough to fit the conduit through the wall. NO outside receptacle to corrode and cause problems. I would keep everything underground, sealed, low voltage, and safe.
