In addition, be sure NOT to cover any recessed lighing canisters unless they're IC-rated. Also, don't obstruct any soffit vents, or the like, so as to inhibit the airflow along the roof's sheathing.

Yes, Kraft-side ALWAYS faces the 'heated' side of the house. It's the vapor barrier.
