The mold can be taken care of, as long as the source of water can be eliminated.

I would be concerned about the leaks. Why so many? A home with improperly maintained plumbing is going to be improperly maintained in a lot of other areas too. It can be a good bargaining point, or it can be a nightmare to take care of.

With the current mold hysteria you might be able to get this house really really cheap.

Then when the hysteria subsides (ala asbestos, ala lead paint...), you can cash in.
