Let me make a suggesstion. Any wood studs, paperback products, complemented with a visquene backing will create a moisture trap; hence leaving you very vunreable for possible mold issues. Something that will cause quite a cost to remeddiate the problem.Bob Villa did a series on the Owens Corning Basement refinishing system about a month ago. Explaining the Mold Free products, the cost, and the ease of instalation. If you are in Michigan I can further explain this product to you amd show you the advantages. You can e-mail me @ Good Luck.
