I did some research and found that in order for something to weigh 7.62 pounds/gallon, it would have to have a specific gravity of .914 Some materials that fall into that value are automotive oils, lubricating oils, olive oil, and the one your probably thinking of - diesel fuel. There are others, but gasoline is lighter.
