Dear Bob, I pulled out some mauve sheets and placed on my daughters bed when at my dismay discovered ther were mildew stains on the fitted sheet. I am assuming when the sheets got pitched down the laundry shoot someone must have also thrown a bath towel behind it. Since the wash was done some days later, it was not discovered. Normally, I would just treat it with household bleach and move on. However I cannot do this without the fear of bleaching the color out of the sheet. I think I heard of using lemon juice and placing the cloth in the sun was one solution. However I am living in Ohio and right now as I speak we are in the middle of a winter snow storm and besides I may not see sun again until May. What are your suggestions.
