I'm in the market for a welder. I ran acorss a posting that had some advice, but could use more.
I'd use it for my bike (motorcycle repair) and later to do some fabrication, stuff like furniture and fences. My concern is buying something that won't be versatile enough, but also not spending an arm and a leg for it. How critical are feed and temp ranges for the applications that I mentioned. Thickest steel I'd probably work with for the time being is 3/8.
