We are considering buying a house with a mouse problem, with the assumption being we'll pump all necessary $$ up front to have a pro set up a control system and plug all exterior potential access points. There was no evidence of mice in the house- it is genrally in good shape, though largely unoccupied- but in the attic we found two traps, one with a dead mouse. There were also droppings up there.
Has anyone had to deal with this and can report general success or general failure? Has anyone "done everything" and still has mice? Or, if you "do everything" can you expect to almost never encounter a mouse?
The house is a rare house in a rare location in a tough market, so it's difficult to just blow it off due to this problem . Thanks very much.
