Things to consider, a mouse can get in a crack 1/4 inch wide. Those are hard to find and hard to get them all.

Then too, they are getting cold and seeking warmth.

Mice traps and poison on a continous basis will eventually get them. Remember this, dogs and cats have the ability to regirgitate, so they will expell the poison. Anyway, mice poison like D-Con if hidden well wont hurt anything.

You have to fix this fast or you will never win. mice and rats come into heat or their cycle once a month and can have up to 8 babbies. A baby mice/rat is ready to have young in 30 days. So, if you do the math and exponientate the figures, you are losing ground fast. If you catch 5 per day, 100 are running around free.

They like under sinks and mostly come in around those pipes, they love inner walls where they can make their nests. I would also consider getting a "in house cat" for mice patrol only.
