If the drain pipe is metal, you could try heating it with torch (not too much) and poring boiling hot water in the drain.
You didn't specify whether the drain is completely clogged by the wax. I wish people would more clearly describe their problems!!! Sorry.
If the pipe is clogged completely, I would probably remove the trap. It is where most of the wax would have accumulated, and soak it in boiling hot water to melt the wax.
If the pipe is not completelt clogged, I would dump boiling hot water down to melt the wax.
