Are you saying that the peel-away has softened the paint but now you can't easily get it out of every crevice? If so, try a shop vac, try a rug doctor which is pressurized steam with a shop vac, try pressurized air from air compressor with shop vac to catch debris, or scrub brush with shop vac. You may have to get creative. It sounds like you have softened the paint, now you need to use pressurized air, water, or steam to remove the softened paint. And, holding a shop vac right next to the air or water to catch the paint debris as it flys out.
