Believe it or not, I left the sink water running with the drain stopped and jumped into the shower.(New baby and sleep deprivation)The water was everywhere and the downstairs sopping wet. Anyways, the master shower (in the same bath as the sink) now leaks water into the downstairs as well. A few times I have tried the bathtub in the same lav and cannot be sure but do not see any water leaking into the downstairs ceiling. As I am not at all handy, would a simple plumber be able to fix the leak? If the tub also leaks (separate shower and tub), would all pipes in this bath need to be repaired? Would the ceiling in the downstairs need to be torn out to get into these main pipes???
