I'm in the process of building a new house, an am looking for a deeper blue material for the outside siding.
I've been told vinyl isn't the answer, because even if you could find one in a color that dark, vinyl doesn't hold darker colors and it would soon fade.
I've found something close to the color I'm looking for in a material called ColorLoc by Masonite. However.... while checking it out on the Internet, I've found there are several class action lawsuits against Masonite over their exterior siding.
Does anyone know, has their quality problem been resolved ? Also, were the problems with ALL of their exterior hardboard siding, or just some of the lines ? How about ColorLoc ??? Was it one of them having the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm about out of time to make a siding choice.
