Man made marble?

You can try this but it takes a lot of care. If its man made marble, start with a sanding block and #80 grit wet-dry paper, wet the area and sand down the spot, then change to #120 repeat, then #180 & repeat, then 220,360,600, after the 600 grit paper, use some rubbing compound and then some polishing compound.

Start with a small area around the burn and with each grade of sand paper go over a wider area to feather it out.

If it is natural marble you need diamond stones, best to call in a tile setter.
