Making a Hexagon

The angle for each of the six corners of the
hexagon is 120 degrees.

An easy way to lay one out is to start with a
circle that touches all six corners. Make it
using a compass or perhaps just a string with
a nail for the center and a pencil. Once you
have the circle, pick an arbitrary point on it
for the first hexagon corner, and using the
same radius, mark the two adjacent corners.
Then using those two, mark two more. There's
just one more to do, mark it from both
neighboring corners to check your accuracy.
