I have two doors from my garage into my house -- one useful and the other not. The non-useful door leads to the laundry room and is in fairly poor shape -- warped and lets air in/out. Can I take the non-useful door out and turn that space into a flush wall? If so, what is the best way?
Can I remove the molding, add a baseboard, add a stud in the middle of the once existing door, add drywall to both inside and garage side, and patch and paint?
This seems like it could work. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.
