Make the outlet a 220.

Find out if the outlet wire goes directly into the panel. (Probably not) If it does then hook up the white and black to a 2 pole breaker. Wire should be 12gauge. If the wire doesn't go into panel. You need to run a seperate line for the dryer.

Call an electrician if you're not sure.
