Greetings Recycle Bob, (& M. Steve)

Well that's two down! Not in the heat and not in the cold.

In the cold climates if the water gets into any crack, creavas, or just the area left by the counter sunk screws, and freezes, it tends to brake down the Trex. Water is tough when it freezes!

I would look for a product that was not a composit to stand up to the weather.

I have also seen the warping that you stated.

Frankly, I am not impressed with what I have seen so far. But, maybe that was not the product you were thinking about!

I have seen a vinyl decking I like that attaches by snapping into a track. But as far being made from recycled material, I think now a days everything vinyl has some amount of recycled material in it.

Good luck,

By the way Steve, last week we had winter up here!
