I guess you could be right, but I have trouble understanding how the radiant layer can do any good when it is under the sheathing away from the sun. It is already in the shade. I can see how an insulating layer might help. The reflecting of radiant energy is off the surface of a material, not internal. Once the heat energy is through the surface, it is conducted.
Please enlighten us.
