Let's be clear! NEC code does not allow low voltage wiring in the same conduits, boxes or enclosures (unless partitioned) with 120VAC (or higher) wiring. High voltages can affect low voltage circuits and equipment; this is called 'flux'.
Also, the two are kept seperate, so that low voltage techs, who are not electricians, are not endangered. This NEC code restriction is violated by HVAC installers, all the time!
