Last night we had a small leak in a hot water line supplying the kitchen and utility room. It was repaired with a "farmers patch" of rubber wrap and hose clamps. since then there has been a hammering noise in the kitchen sink that actually makes the faucet jump each time it sounds. It does not affect the dishwasher or sink in the utility room. It happens on both the cold and hot water and each time it sounds, it squirts a little water out of the spray nozzle . It is a Moen faucet, not more than 1-2 years old. This has been going on all day.
I would appreciate any advice on this. Merry Christmas!
