If you want to do the work yourself, take some of that hard-saved $$$ and have a landscaper that's familiar with this type of job draw up some plans. THAT'S $$$ well-spent! Or, you can try to contact the mfgr for hand-outs.

One site I have bookmarked is Orco Retaining Wall Products. Do poke around and you'll finde PDF documents on-line. You can download them. There are lots of ideas in there and this is just one site. There are many more. If you need more help, start a new post (that's later on of course), or e-mail me directly.

PS: Be prepared for a lot of back-breaking work. You'll be working with gravel / curshed-stone, block, dirt, and who knows whatelse. A lot of that 'stuff' may need to be moved from Point A to Point B by hand.
