I am building a shower enclosure in the "room-in-the-attic". Because one wall of the enclosure will be against the outside wall of the side of the attic, I can not use a purchased shower enclosure. (Vertical wall is only five feet high, then angles up and overhead, following the rafter line.) I can use ceramic tile, but would rather use a tileboard to keep the weight to a minimum. In a Black and Decker Bathroom Remodeling "How To" book, it shows and discusses a solid bullnosed PVC tileboard that can be purchased in 4X4 or 4X5 sheets.
The credits in the book lead to Trayco Inc, but they have merged with Masco. Black and Decker couldn't help either.
Has anyone heard of PVC tileboard or know where to get it? Some manufactured shower surronds use it in their enclosures but I can't locate sheets or connectors for thr DIY'er.
