Load bearing wall

I'm no expert, but generally speaking a load bearing wall will have the trusses (above floor structure)running perpindicular to load bearing walls. In a single floor home, anyway, you can access your crawlspace and check out which direction the trusses are running. If your "wall" is parallel to the truss structure it's a non-load bearing wall, I believe.
