Hi, my husband and I wanted to tear down the wall between our living room and kitchen. We started on this today only to find out there is concrete between the drywall pieces! Our home was built in the 1940's with what seems all scrap materials and we don't think there is a true right angle anywhere in here. We bought the home from his brother in law who had done a lot of renovation. He didn't think it was a load bearing wall, but we don't think he knew about the concrete. It was a flat roof house so the floor of the attic is the old roof so we can't get to the wall from there. What should we do?? Help!!
