lights do not work

Tim, you must go back to why you put the new switch in to begin with! It sounds like you tried the new switch because the track lights quit working...I assume you made sure all the bulbs were not blown. Given that a least one of the bulb was good. and you put another switch in--even if you installed the black wires to the switch incorrectly...--did you turn the circuit breaker off to do this installation..if not and one of the black wires had power on should have been shocked if you touched the bare wire. my suspicion is that you lost power to the track light strip somehow and somewhere. at the switchbox one of the black wires that connects to the switch should be coming from the 120 volt source and the other black wire that hooks to the switch go to the track light fixture....Please provide somemore info on your original problem or troubleshoot at the track light somemore.!!! Post up so we can try and be more helpful.
