light blinks and won't close, craftsman garage door opener

Posted by Philip de Jongh on January 4th, 2000 09:41 PM

I had a garage door opener installed back in August, less than 5 months ago, and now the receiving sensor is dead, I already tried using a neighbors sensor and it worked ok so I am sure it is the sensor, the problem is that in this country they will charge me a lot for the new sensors and I would like to know the pinout of the chamberlain chip to have the sensor bypassed and get the opener to operate again, since I can't have the sensor fixed because the light infrared transistor is not available, I will need all the help available please send me some information on how to bypass it, or at least a website or an e-mail address. The board in it is 14PC0500B. The sensor board is 14PC532-1B it is a Receiving EYE-A.
Thanks.
Philip
