I would be concerned for liability issues. What if the fiberglass tub was scratched during construction and they only notice it AFTER you cleaned it? Are you covered if they try to stick you with the bill for repairing or replacing the tub? You either need a good insurance policy or some agreement with your builder that you can't be held responsible for damages of some sorts.

Also, be aware that the newer windows with low E coatings can scratch badly if cleaned with a razor blade. Very costly if you have to pay to have these all replaced. I've seen it happen...
