Yes, I agree that the majority of exchanges and product quality issues are not a problem, but I sure as heck personally ran into many of the exceptions.
It would be nice if Sears would establish the parameters of the warranty, but as I do not see that happening, it would be interesting for someone to design, document, and deliver an investigation to test different exchange scenarios at various locations.
