Lennox gas furnace won't ignite unless DIS is depressed

Posted by Mondra on November 30th, 2002 12:17 PM

Standing pilot light is lit-but no burner ignition.

1. fuse is good on 120v circuit
2. transformer tests good
3. no burner ignition unless I press and hold
door interlock switch(DIS) in. If I keep
DIS deprssed, furnace ignits and appears to funtion normally!

Can you offer any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.
