Lennox Furnace Will Work Sometimes

Posted by Jeff Simpson on December 18th, 2001 01:47 PM

I have a Lennox furnace model G20. The problem I have is sometimes it will work and sometimes it will go into a shut down.I checked all eletrical connections.I changed the flame sensor because the flame sensor was not in the right microamp range it would go from .06 to .00 changed it and the new one runs at .08 microamp.I thought my problem was over but it still goes into shutdown from time to time. When it is into shutdown none of the sensors have tripped the green led on the igntion control goes out.To get the furnace to run again you have to turn power off then back on. I think maybe it might be the Johnson ignition control or the Pc board I forgot to mention I have 24volts on the transformer and new thermostat I did not need. The warranty ran out 4 weeks ago. I hope someone can help me .Thank-You
