My tank has just been pumped, my leachfield is wet all the time, and now three days after pumping the tank, the drains are poping again. If I replace the field, how deep must it be? Should I pick a new area or lay pipe in the old area? Is this a job I can do myself, or do I have to hire a plumber. My funds are limited! I Live in Shasta County Ca, the field was put in in 1965. I have no idea how deep the present drain field is. I have no idea how much pipe a family or four needs in the leachfield, or how deep to place it below ground surface. Thanks Frank Thomas
