Like many parts of the country, we in the east have had a lot of snow and extreme cold.
There is about 1.5 feet of snow on the peaked roof of our addition. My gutters are ice damned. I've chipped most of the ice out of them, but there is still the roof snow, and a leak has started. Water is dripping through the suspended ceiling. I have removed the ceiling tile and can see a hair-line crack in the roof plywood where the water is coming through.
Any ideas as to what I can do at this point? So far I've cleared the area on the roof top as best I can.
