recently while roofers were putting a new shingle roof on my house,it started to pour, they thought the roof was secure but later that day i saw wet spots appear in the ceilings and walls of the house. when i checked in the attic i saw water coming in from many different places. although the drywall does not appear to be ruined, i now have water stains in about twenty different spots in every room in the house. the roofing company has agreed to re paint the interior of the house but someone told me that, even though the drywall appears to be o k now it will eventually split on the seams or the new paint will eventaually peel. plus i was told that the fiberglass insulation that became soaked in the attic, would become moldy and the mold problem could become a serious health risk. SHOULD I HOLD THE ROOFER RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE OR ARE THESE CONCERNS ABOUT FUTURE PROBLEMS UNFOUNDED ? P. S. THE HOUSE IS IN SOUTHERN FLORIDA AND IS VACANT ABOUT HALF THE YEAR. THANKS.
