leaky faucet

Mary, after everyone has used their AM water, turn the supply off to the house. Remove the valve(s) from the shower/tub. This may take a little detective work, depending on the type of valve (especially single valve units). Take the valve(s) with you to a good hardware or plumbing store and they will help you with the correct parts (low cost). While the valve is out, put some aluminum foil under the pipe opening in the wall to direct water still in the lines, into the tub and keep it from going into the wall. The other wet area is probably another problem. Is your plumbing in the slab? Is the wet area next to a wall? Leaking pipes in a slab require sound equipment to detect location and concrete cutting to repair. Good luck. Rich
