I have a Delta faucet in the bathroom that is leaking. This particular model has the faceted ball that rotates left for hot and right for cold. The fixture is about 25 years old.
The faucet is leaking on the bottom side where the faucet attaches to the sink. The water appears to be coming out of the center hole where the plunger for raising/lowering the drain plug comes through.
On this particular design, the water seems prone to run down the inside of the curved arch where the water comes out. I can't tell if the leak is due to water leaking past the gasket between the faucet and the sink, or if the faucet is leaking and needs to be rebuilt?
What do you think, plumbers? Rebuild the faucet or replace the gasket?
