Leaking water lines

Posted by KT Pulliam on January 25th, 2002 06:19 AM

I was under my house recently and noticed 2 damp spots on the subflooring. One where the copper line goes through the floor for my ice maker and the other where the copper line goes through the floor for my bathroom sink for the cold water. The leak appears to be above the subfloor and I can't tell exactly where the leak is coming from.My house is only about 18 months old. There is no sign of a leak, such as damp floors or walls, on the inside just underneath. Is this a problem I can fix myself or do I need a real plumber?
