I had the same problem with a GE dishwasher one time. I called the company and they told me that the seal where the motor hooks to the unit on the bottom gets a small buildup of calcium. This happens when the unit sits for a period of time. The easy fix is to shut off the power and manually turn the motor to clean the seal of calcium. I tried it for me and it worked. As with you, about every two months I had to do the same thing.
