Okay, I have no explanation, but I left a large towel under the leaking bolts and tank seal for the past week, since I had to get to other things (like work!) I figurd that the towel could be rung daily and put back to sop up the leaky tank until I could get to it again. Well, today, I went to ring the towel out again and it was stiff and dry! No more leak! It must have been the time-release bolt seals I used -NOT! Why it isn't leaking now is as big a mystery as why it leaked to begin with. I think I'll just stick to electrical work. At least it's less a mystery. Thanks to all for the help.
