LBP and Pressure Washing

Posted by R. T. Knowles, CSP on September 12th, 1999 11:03 AM

The two don't mix. Bob, You've had contractors on your show, pressure washing siding on old housing. This is disasterous for small children. The LBP will contaminate the soil, and the soil will then get tracked into the home, lodge in the carpets, and maim a small child. Un-contained hydro-blasting of lead paint surfaces is illegal in most states.

You could perform a very valuable service to the public, if you would get the expertise to demonstrate the proper ways of renovating/modifying/removing LBP. So far, you've failed at nearly every opportunity.
