how old is your house? are the fixtures/faucets in lavatories and bathtubs/showers pretty old too? do you have galvanized or copper water pipes? are all of your hot/cold water faucets throughout the house doing this or is it just certain ones???? how long has this problelm been going on ,,did it just recently start or being going on a long while now?? my suspicion is that you have maybe a combination problems...but your main problem maybe that the faucets are old and somehow you may be getting cold water fromt eh cold water side mixing too heavily with the hot water. due to being too worn out. If this is the case the only fix is to replace those faucets with a new fixture. give us some more information better help you trouble shoot this problem. what size water heater do you have 30 gallon, 40 gallon, etc???
