Hi, Pat. I have something that you might try. You mentioned in your other post that the walls behind the picture were lighter than the surrounding walls. Sometimes what happens is that the wood in the walls lightens from sun bleaching. Since the walls are darker, this might indicate that there just might be a build-up of dust, dirt, smoke, etc. on the walls. Try washing with Dirtex, 409 or a similar cleaner. Use a damp sponge and try not to get the walls any wetter than possible and rinse with clean water.
