I would start by getting a manual from Sears if possible. I believe I had this problem when my unit was under warranty. I vaguely remember a service call where the guy cleaned out the nozzle and venturi. Water must pass throught this to get to the brine tank. On my unit this affair is to the side of the valve assembly and has a small hose coming out of it. Mine has a grey plastic mushroom shaped cap on the top. Unscrew that, and you should find a stack of pieces including a screen that can be cleaned, and at the very bottom of mine is a small black cyclinder, called a flow plug, with a small hole in the middle. Make sure it is not plugged. Be sure to put everything back in the right order. This is where the manual helps.
