JC,

IT'S BEST TO EXPERIMENT W/JUNK WOOD FIRST. KEEP THE PIECES RELATIVELY SHORT. OTHERWISE, THEY MAY BOW ON YOU. FIRST, CUT THE STRIP WIDE ENOUGH TO INCLUDE THE TONGUE. THEN, CUT THE GROOVE SIDE. THEN, ROUTE-OFF ENOUGH WOOD FOR THE TONGUE. BEVEL THE TONGUE. THEN, SAND THE TONGUE AND GROOVE.

YOU MAY WANT TO GET A HOLD OF A SAMPLE FIRST. OF COURSE, IT SHOULD BE 3/4" THICK. I DON'T KNOW OF A SITE THAT GOES INTO DETAILS BUT IF YOU HAVE A TABLE SAW AND A ROUTING TABLE, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THIS JOB REAL EASY. MY BEST TO YA AND HOPE THIS HELPS.

JAY J

PS: IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM, JOIN THEM ...
