I'm not an HVAC guy but I have to agree with 'jb' in that if the Safety Switch is getting tripped, then the System is working, for now. By your 'delaying' the inevitable, you could be risking bigger problems. The Safety Switch is there for a reason. 'Listen' to it. (HELP ME! HELP ME! GET SOMEONE WHO 'KNOWS' WHAT TO DO TO 'FIX' ME!) Did you hear that??!
Yes, it could be a 'sticking' switch but why mess with it. Tomorrow or the day after or soon thereafter, you may have no heat. It's best to deal with this problem while it's small.
